Dr. Dunigan graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. After graduation, she completed a veterinary internship and additional surgical training.
Dr. Dunigan knew at just five years old that she wanted to become a veterinarian—and all these years later, she still feels the same joy and purpose in this profession. With more than three decades of experience in small animal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and emergency care, she brings compassionate care to every pet she meets.
As the Medical Lead Veterinarian at Glade Valley Animal Hospital, Dr. Dunigan is dedicated to ensuring that every patient receives thoughtful, high‑quality care and that every family feels supported and understood. She believes that great veterinary care is built on trust, kindness, and truly listening to the needs of both pets and their people. She loves forming long‑term relationships with families and watching her patients grow from playful puppies and kittens into beloved seniors.
What Dr. Dunigan enjoys most about veterinary medicine is the blend of science, problem‑solving, and heartfelt connection. Whether she’s diagnosing a tricky case, comforting a nervous pet, or celebrating a patient’s recovery, she brings warmth, dedication, and genuine joy to her work.
When she’s not at the hospital, Dr. Dunigan loves spending time outdoors—especially hiking with her family and her two dogs, Minnie and Hazel.
Dr. Dunigan is honored to care for the pets of this community and looks forward to welcoming you and your four‑legged family members to Glade Valley Animal Hospital.
